ABOUT ALAN

Alan Kachin’s experience in the Food and Beverage industry spans 40 years of ownership of successful locations in Atlantic City, N.J., Philadelphia, Pa., Doylestown, Pa. and South Florida.A long time Collector of Art, Packard Automobiles, Foreign Motorcar Marques and Collectables. Alan is detailed oriented and his discerning taste adds much to his interests and creativity. With an extensive resume from his early years working on the famed Boardwalk in Atlantic City, N.J., ownership of The Seahorse Pier in Brigantine, N.J. to management at Smithville Inn outside Atlantic City. With partner James Jacobs their Colonial Housewares was one of the first to demonstrate a new cookware from France, today the brand is know worldwide “T-Fal”.  He then opened in 1978 one of Philadelphia’s legendary alternative clubs, Equus in center city. Alan and his Partner David Fuller then created The Pear & Partridge Inn in Bucks County, Pa. Then off to South Beach and Hombre on Washington Ave. and the incredible Ft. Lauderdale Eagle bar on Powerline Rd.

Alan’s youthful ambition:  I’ve had an incredible ride up to this point however my dream was to be a Trolley Motorman in Atlantic City. Well they didn’t hire me. Where would I be today if they did.
